Hello!

Welcome to my websitey bloggy thing.

I’m Tom. One reviewer recently called me “self proclaimed nerd and all-round nice guy”. That pretty much nails it. Here’s a bit about me. Click the links above for more.

I’ve been doing stand-up comedy regularly since late 2007. It’s going pretty well.
At the moment I’m doing opening and middle 15s and 20s at great clubs like The Frog & Bucket and XS Malarkey (both Manchester), The Stand (Edinburgh), Crack Comedy (MCing), Amused Moose, Downstairs at the Kings Head, The Comedy Cafe (all London) and various gigs for Christian Knowles Productions (CKP), Mirth Control and many more.

I’ve also done a fair bit at the Edinburgh Fringe.

2011: Tom Goodliffe: The Goodliffe (debut solo show)

2010: Pleasance Comedy Reserve

2009: ‘Tom and Brody are SO Comedy’, with Broderick Chow.

2008: Homework for Heroes, with Nat Luurtsema, Helen Arney and Broderick Chow.

And a few years ago now I did quite well in some new act competitions. In 2009 I won the annual new act competition known as Beat The Frog World Series at the famous Frog & Bucket comedy club in Manchester.
I’ve been in a number of other new act competition finals and semi finals and was “runner up with special commendation from the industry judges” at You Must Be Joking, Newbury Comedy Festival 2008.
